How do I get my child to make healthier snack choices?
To get your children to enjoy healthy snacks, consider what would make them appealing. Children are attracted to and curious about things that look colorful and fun. Put together fresh, bright, fun-looking snacks that interest your children, grabbing their attention and making snack time a fun, anticipated time.
For example, when serving orange or mandarin slices, thoughtfully arrange the pegs in a circle, starting with four pegs, stacking on a couple more rows, then adding a cherry in the center to create eye- catching flowers with orange petals and red center. It has been said that mealtimes are not a time for play, but there is always an opportunity for children to engage in a learning experience during a snack.
